Danny is a great instructor. I’m so glad I found this place! I got a lot out of it. He is very good at what he does and he knows how to treat people. He teaches several classes and I recommend them all. I plan to take more of his classes moving forward. He also has a nice facility. If you have any issues with learning to shoot he can help with that. I highly recommend this place.

Captain Danny Walker

Captain Walker has taught numerous firearms courses in his career, including basic, intermediate, and advanced handgun, AR-15 type rifle shooting, patrol rifle, and shotgun courses and is an armorer for both Glock and AR-15 weapon systems. Captain Walker has been a SWAT Officer for 12 years, 10 of which were spent as the team’s Sniper and Assistant Commander.

Brought my new Guardian Team to East Texas Tactical Firearms Training. Captain Danny Walker is one of the best most knowledgeable trainers I have encountered in my 30 years as a LEO. His attention to detail in all of the students was impeccable. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone that needs any type of firearms training. Mrs. Walker is definitely an asset to this company, she manages breakfast, lunch, and all classroom activities with her husband, Danny. Definitely a 5 Star Team!!!

He holds a Master Peace Officer’s Certificate, TCOLE Firearms Certification, Texas Department of Public Safety Firearms Instructor Certification as well as an Advanced Instructor’s License and Texas License to Carry Instructors Certificate.
